Free public procurement course for businesses – ‘Winning the Contract’

This is a free resource to help businesses learn about public procurement and how to bid for public sector contracts.
The course can be accessed via the Business Link webpage at:   www.businesslink.gov.uk/procurement"

The course introduces businesses to the key procurement processes, including:

Tender alerts service - Birmingham Chamber of Commerce

The tender alert service will notify you via email when any public sector tender is released matching your company profile. It will do this on the day the contract is published giving you maximum time to prepare and keeping you a step ahead of the competition. We ensure that no opportunities are missed in the UK and Europe by using CPV codes and keywords selected by you, therefore any tenders with either or both of these are filtered through our software and sent directly to your inbox before 12pm daily.

We can also filter the opportunities out even further if you wish; by location, contract size, value etc all bespoke to your needs. Whatever you are looking for we can make sure you see it and exclude the notices that do not fulfil that criteria as to not waste your time searching through irrelevant information.

All our tenders are from the OJEU

OJEU stands for the Official Journal of the European Union. This is the publication in which all contracts from the public sector which are valued above a certain financial threshold according to EU legislation, must be published.
The legislation covers organisations and projects that receive public money. Organisations such as Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Central Government Departments and Educational Establishments are all covered by the legislation.
Around 4500 new notices are advertised every week - these include invitations to tender, prior information notices, qualification systems and contract award notices. In addition to the alerts you will also receive our expert support to help you win the tenders as well as identify them. For example you my need some terminology explained or help "reading between the lines" or would just like somebody to read over your bid, all of these services are available to you at no additional cost.

As a member of the service your complete package would include:
